About the Conference

The 3rd DAE‐BRNS Symposium on Current Trends In Analytical Chemistry (CTAC–2023), is being organized by Analytical Chemistry Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Trombay, Mumbai, India, during March 06-09, 2024 at DAE Convention Centre, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai - 400094. The symposium is supported by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) and Department of Atomic Energy (DAE).

Analytical Chemistry plays a pivotal role in every branch of science and technology. It facilitates the decision maker to take informed and objective decision for addressing safety, commercial, legal, medical and environmental issues. Advent of semiconductor devices, advances in instrumental methods, introduction of hyphenated techniques and enhanced awareness of QA/QC have expanded horizon of Analytical Chemistry. Analytical Chemistry is being used for basic research, high end technological materials, sustainable solutions to various problems related to energy, environment and health.

CTAC-2023 is being organized by ACD, BARC with a primary objective to provide a forum to the analytical chemists for reviewing the current developments in analytical chemistry and exchange of ideas. While CTAC attracts eminent scientists working in the forefront areas of analytical chemistry, the deliberations provide a single platform for discussions on the recent progress in analytical research.

The proceedings of the symposium will consist of keynote addresses, invited talks and presentation of contributory papers as oral presentations and posters.

We invite all experts, researchers, students working in this area to participate.
